Local and Live presents: Three Penny Piece
Vintage jazz trio reviving old-time favourites from the 1930s, 40s and 50s.
Songstresses Antonia Hyatt, Hannah Summers and Hilary Andrews weave their years of solo vocals into honey-toned tight trio jazz harmonies and beautiful blending. Influenced by the Andrews Sisters, the girls re-work well-known swing, big band and boogie-woogie songs of the past and modern pop songs of recent decades with their unique trio take on songs of a bygone era.
Part of the Local and Live mini-festival, a joint initiative between Ropetackle Arts Centre and Shoreham Wordfest, to celebrate the creativity of local writers, musicians, actors and poets and the return to live performance.
