As with nearly all arts venues, Ropetackle cannot survive without subsidy.
Our situation is now critical to the extent that we are calling on our community to support us. Without such support, we face the prospect of closure.
We have set up ROPETACKLE 2020 to raise funds from the people in our community, to secure our future.
The Ropetackle Arts Centre, a registered charity, has become one of the most successful arts centres in the region attracting more than 50,000 visitors a year and providing space and facilities for a wide range of community activities.
Ropetackle would not be able to do all the things we do without our small dedicated staff team and the army of volunteers, and the generosity of Friends, Business Friends and Sponsors. But with rising costs, and no core funding, we have to raise more in order to continue.
Support Ropetackle as a Patron or Friend
Our new Patrons & Friend Scheme has three levels of contribution –
Each has different benefits, including: reserved seats to avoid the queue, a reserved bar table for pre-ordered interval drinks and priority bookings on selected events.
Make a donation
We welcome donations of any amount – a smaller regular donation helps us even more than a one-off amount. We are working with Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) who will collect all donations on our behalf and also deal with Gift Aid.
Becoming a Patron, Friend or Donor means you are making a fantastic contribution towards maintaining Ropetackle for the local community, and we need your support to survive.
By raising money in this way we hope to persuade other funders to match your contributions so that we can continue to provide a rich programme of top level professional performance and also to expand community use of the Centre.
