Re-opening for Food from Friday 7th August
The lovely people at Lesley’s Kitchen – the award-winning caterers we use for our popular pre-show suppers – will be cooking up some delicious suppers at the weekends throughout August. If you’d like to be one of a limited number (max. 25 covers) for a special evening out with friends and some of the best home-style cooked food around, then email or call Lesley as soon as you can to reserve your table. Each three-course feast costs just £19 and the menu choices and dates are below. The bar will of course be open and serving the usual great selection of wine, beer, cider and spirits.
Doors will open from 7pm for a 7.30pm start.
Friday 7th August
Chicken Chasseur OR Steamed Fish OR Mushroom & Nut Roast. All served with dauphinois potatoes and veg
Lemon trio – posset, lemon & blueberry slice, lemon meringue
Saturday 15th August
Brazilian chicken with spicy tomato & coconut sauce with rice and veg OR Haddock & leek au gratin with roast potatoes and veg OR Parsnip, chestnut and feta loaf with roast potatoes and veg
Baileys & chocolate cheesecake
Saturday 22nd August
Chicken and mushroom fricassee served with rice and veg OR Lemon, herb and Parmesan crusted fish served with roast potatoes and veg OR Lentil and spinach en croute served with roast potatoes and veg
Friday 28th August
Honey mustard chicken OR Steamed fish with ginger & spring onions OR Mushroom and nut roast All served with dauphinoise potatoes and veg
Strawberry and white chocolate cheesecake
