Your ideas for the future of Ropetackle
Following the success of the Ropetackle 2020 fundraising campaign, we will be consulting the community to hear your ideas at an open public event.
Everyone is invited to attend an informal evening of group discussions at Ropetackle, on Monday 11 November from 7.30pm.
Chairman Martin Allen explains:
“The successful Ropetackle 2020 appeal and Adur Council’s commitment to continuing funding having secured Ropetackle’s future, the trustees are now undertaking a comprehensive strategic review, to lay the foundations for the years ahead.
“Central to such review is the question of how Ropetackle can best serve the local community and at the same time, provide the best possible programme of quality professional performance for our audiences, drawn as they are, from an ever widening area, bringing significant benefits to the local economy. We intend to start the review by consulting our community and our audience at a meeting arranged for 11th November, and through extensive conversations.
We want to hear views on all aspects of our enterprise, including (but not limited to):
- Our programme
- How best to make the Centre available for the community
- What else we should be doing
- Who we should be working with (partner organisations, etc.)
- How we can continue to strengthen our financial position
“We will also be taking the opportunity to thank all those who have made donations to Ropetackle 2020.”
