Introducing our new Saturday Sessions – free events!

The Ropetackle team is delighted to bring musicians, poets, singers and other creative types together to lead public sessions. We’re aiming for one Saturday a month and the beauty of these sessions is that they are completely free! From Ukulele to Folk Singing, and Poemathons, join us in the foyer for some laid-back entertainment.

“The Saturday Sessions evolved from a series of free events in April 2017 that were put on as part of Ropetackle’s 10-year celebrations. The reaction from the local community was fantastic,” says Claire Swift, Operations and Development Manager. “Having regular events in our bright and airy foyer space is a great way to increase access and use of the centre. The Saturday Sessions celebrate the community’s local talents and give people an opportunity to spend time with friends and family. I love the buzz from having a busy foyer (extra busy when we have our ukulele sessions!) and welcome anyone who would like to play, perform, speak, act, dance etc. as part of our sessions, to just get in touch!”
