Harry Strutters Hot Rhythm Orchestra
Harry Strutters Hot Rhythm Orchestra

A very special concert to celebrate the 45th Anniversary of the Harry Strutters Hot Rhythm Orchestra, founded in Brighton in 1968. The orchestra specialises in recreating the jazz and hot dance-band music of the 1920s and 1930s with characteristic drive, wit, and visual appeal. For may years Harry Strutters HRO pulled the crowds in at various local venues… its long lasting Sunday residency at the Shoreham Airport Restaurant was immensely popular. Since then it has appeared at a variety of venues across the UK and Europe and on TV in the UK, Germany, Switzerland and Denmark.

This celebratory concert will present several outstanding musicians, and will also feature a special guest appearance by Jim Heath with his legendary No Fishing puppet show and other mad cameos. Action-packed, with a huge helping of fun and nostalgia, come on down and remember the good times!
